Terms & Conditions · Retreats

Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to all retreats, programs, events, and experiences offered by The Haus of H unless otherwise stated in writing. By registering, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to them in full.

1. Registration & Eligibility

Participation in Haus of H retreats is limited to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements specified for each retreat. Some retreats may require intake forms, screening, or approval prior to acceptance.

We reserve the right to deny participation to any individual if we determine, at our sole discretion, that the retreat is not an appropriate fit.

2. Registration, Payments & Refund Policy

All retreat registrations are non-refundable.

Haus of H retreats require advance financial commitments for accommodations, food, facilitators, materials, and venue arrangements. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations, no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.

In some cases, tickets may be transferable to another participant with advance written notice and approval. Transfers are not guaranteed and are subject to timing, retreat capacity, intake requirements, and container alignment.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in the event of illness, emergencies, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. Arrival, Departure & Attendance

Participants are expected to arrive and depart in accordance with the published retreat schedule.

Late arrivals, early departures, or missed sessions do not qualify for refunds, credits, or alternative programming.

Many retreats are designed as cumulative or immersive experiences. Disruption to attendance may affect both the individual experience and group cohesion.

4. Participation, Consent & Personal Responsibility

All retreat activities are optional. Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies, nervous systems, and personal boundaries at all times.

You may opt out of any activity, practice, exercise, or group process without explanation or penalty.

Retreats may include somatic practices, movement, silence, ritual, emotional exploration, reflection, or group sharing. You are responsible for assessing your own physical, emotional, and psychological readiness to participate.

Haus of H retreats do not provide medical, psychiatric, or mental health treatment. Participation is voluntary and self-directed.

5. Health & Safety Disclaimer

By participating, you affirm that you are physically and mentally capable of engaging in retreat activities and that you assume full responsibility for your health and wellbeing.

You understand that retreats may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to emotional discomfort, physical exertion, shared environments, travel-related risks, and group dynamics.

You agree to seek professional medical or mental health support outside the retreat if needed.

6. Substances & Altered States

Some retreats may include practices that facilitate altered states of awareness, such as meditation, breathwork, ritual, or ceremonial experiences.

If plant medicines, entheogens, or other substances are part of a retreat offering, this will be clearly communicated in advance, offered only where legal, and facilitated within explicit guidelines.

Participation in any altered-state or substance-related practice is entirely optional, and participants may opt out at any time without explanation or consequence.

The use of illegal substances outside of explicitly facilitated and communicated contexts is strictly prohibited at Haus of H retreats.

7. Food, Dietary Needs & Allergies

Participants are responsible for disclosing all dietary restrictions and food allergies during registration.

While reasonable efforts are made to accommodate common dietary needs, Haus of H cannot guarantee accommodation for all preferences, medically complex diets, or provide an allergen-free environment.

Haus of H does not currently operate a dedicated retreat center. Food preparation and kitchen access vary by venue and may involve shared kitchens, on-site staff, third-party caterers, or visiting chefs.

Participants with severe or life-threatening allergies must contact us prior to registration to confirm suitability.

8. Shared Spaces & Environment

Participants agree to respect shared spaces, quiet hours, group agreements, and the physical environment of the retreat venue.

This includes honoring silence when applicable, maintaining cleanliness in communal areas, and engaging with the land and space with care.

Repeated disregard for shared space agreements or environmental respect may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

9. Confidentiality & Group Privacy

Retreats may involve personal sharing and group processes.

Participants agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow guests and not to share personal stories, identifying information, or experiences outside the retreat without explicit consent.

This confidentiality expectation extends beyond the duration of the retreat.

10. Photography, Videography & Media Consent

Haus of H retreats may be photographed or video recorded for documentation, educational, archival, and promotional purposes. Many workshops are recorded.

By participating, you grant The Haus of H permission to use photographs and video recordings that may include your likeness across digital and print platforms without compensation.

Opt-Out & Visibility Accommodations. Participants who prefer not to be photographed or recorded must notify us in writing prior to the retreat. When advance notice is provided, we make reasonable efforts to honor this preference, including visual identifiers (wristbands, badges), designated seating during recorded sessions, and communication with facilitators and media staff.

Due to the nature of shared spaces and live events, complete exclusion cannot be guaranteed. Participation in recorded workshops is optional, and participants may reposition or step out as needed.

11. Program, Schedule & Venue Changes

The Haus of H reserves the right to make reasonable changes to retreat programming, facilitators, schedules, locations, or venues as needed due to circumstances beyond our control or to enhance the retreat experience.

Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

12. Personal Property

The Haus of H is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Participants are encouraged to secure valuables appropriately and bring only what is necessary for the retreat experience.

13. Right to Remove

The Haus of H reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, harmful, or not in alignment with the retreat container or community agreements.

Removal may occur without refund and without further obligation.

14. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

By registering and participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with retreat participation.

You release and hold harmless The Haus of H, its staff, facilitators, contractors, volunteers, and venue partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.

15. Force Majeure

The Haus of H shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather events, pandemics, government actions, travel restrictions, or acts of God.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Haus of H is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By registering for a Haus of H retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
